The Bangsa Malaysia -Penang get together at Subaida, Tg Tokong`Meeting'/chit-chatting in full-gear

Bangsa Malaysia- Penang finally get to meet for the first time after the first forum that attracted 200 attendants before the elections. The enthusiasm stirred up by the freak election results certainly gave impetus for the meet this afternoon at Tg Tokong's Zubaida! If not for the Opposition win we certainly won't see a new govt appointtee Stevem Sim(1st Left on 2nd photo) appearing at the meet......

The meeting appointed by public acclaim Cheryl Witaneachi (who was the only Penangite that attended the original Bangsa Malaysia forum in KL) to be the Coordinator for BM-Pg. D' Space will be the meeting place for the new group. The group will be organising regular public meeting to mpromote the concept of a common citizenship in contrast to the current situation where an ethnic group is made to feel `rightful' to dominate over the rests.

The group will extend to other states as well-the first target being Perak where Mr Gong hail from -but who spend half his time in Penang.
